Meet Pastor W. Lee Cook
W. Lee Cook III is a native of
Belmont, NC.
He received Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Tuckaseege
Baptist church in Mt. Holly,
NC in the spring of 1979. It was during his
college years at Wingate that the Lord worked in His life in a mighty
way. He graduated from Wingate University
with a B.S. Degree in 1991.
In January1996 he was ordained to be a Deacon at
Tuckaseege Baptist
Church. Then in July 1997
Lee was licensed as a Minister.
He earned a Master of Divinity degree with Biblical Languages
from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. In June 2002 he
was Ordained as a Minister at
Tuckaseege
Baptist
Church. In May 2002 he was called to
Bear Creek Baptist
Church in
Mocksville, NC
where he served for just over 5 ½ years.
Since February 2008 Lee has enjoyed serving the Lord at
Providence Baptist
Church in
Providence, NC.
His desire is to see lost people come to know Jesus as their Lord
and Savior, grow closer to the Lord, learn how to use the gifts God has
given them and go tell others about the Good News of Jesus the only true
Lord and Savior. Lee and his wife Jennifer’s personal goal can be found
in 2 Corinthians 5:9 “Therefore we
make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.”
His lovely wife Jennifer is truly a special gift from God.
